BPMN 2.0 Process Automation

LoyJoy is based on the BPMN 2.0 modeling standard and utilizes the Business Process Model And Notation (BPMN) 2.0 standard to model and execute processes. BPMN is a standardized way of representing business processes through flowchart diagrams. LoyJoy extends BPMN using a standardized extension mechanism, ensuring that all LoyJoy experiences are in fact standardized BPMN process models.

When creating a chat experience in LoyJoy Manager, a BPMN process model is created, which is extended with LoyJoy-specific process module semantics. Adding a process module to the chat experience creates a BPMN subprocess in the BPMN process model, with LoyJoy-specific attributes added to the subprocess. For example, the Email process module specifies that an email should be sent and who the recipient should be.

LoyJoy's BPMN process modules consist of predefined logic encapsulated within a BPMN subprocess, which can be freely positioned within the process editor. These modules enable users to build their own chat experiences, with the ability to ask customers for their first name and store the answer, among other features. With over 100 available BPMN process modules, the list is constantly growing, providing users with more options to create unique and personalized chat experiences.
